Dear Parents
NEWS & INFORMATION
In this letter are details of events up to Easter.
1. On Friday this week we are having a visit by WISH F.M. radio. They are to 'interview' a selection of children, asking their opinions on a variety of topics. We will then feature, in the future, as 'School of the Week.' I felt this was a good opportunity to spread our school name and give some children the experience of 'becoming famous!'
2. Also on Friday at 9.15 a.m. Year 3 are presenting an assembly - you are welcome to join them.
3. You will have received details of the UMBRO Skills Day to be held on Monday next (18th March). Could all forms please be returned on or by Monday.
4. Easter Bingo takes place in the school hall on Wednesday, 20th March at 6.30 p.m. All are welcome. The Easter Raffle will also be drawn.
5. On Thursday 21st we have booked some entertainment for the children. It will be given by the 'Theatre for Youth' and is in the form of a magician/magic show. We have not had this before. Following the show there is a workshop for years 5 & 6. There is no cost for either the show or the workshop.
6. May I respectfully remind all parents of the need to register their visit in school prior to going to see a teacher. It is necessary to do this for security /safety reasons. A notice on the front door reminds all visitors of this.
7. School closes at 3.30 p.m. on Friday, 22nd March for the Easter holiday and re-opens at 9.00 a.m. on Monday, 8th April.
